This course addresses the new 2016 CDC recommendations for Infection Control and provides the participant with action steps to utilize the checklists and assessment tools.
The new CDC document covers basic infection control expectations for providing safe dental care, is based on the principles of Standard Precautions and CDC's Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Health-Care Settings–2003 and serves as a "companion" to CDC's Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Health-Care Settings–2003.
